When HD Powders Go Wrong
This...
is why I NEVER recommend HD powders. HD powders were designed for film not photography, and they create horrible flashback. In person I'm sure Ashley looked beautiful, but once the flash bounced off that HD powder under her eyes, it aged her horribly. Keep in mind that products with sunscreen can also have this effect . Brides take note.

Poor Ashley Judd! As if her life wasn't already hard enough. :-(
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly is HD powder? I've never seen it.
ReplyDeleteHD powder is a finishing powder used to set makeup and absorbs oils. It was designed for the film industry and produces beautiful poreless skin when filmed on HD. It's designed to reflect light back at the viewer, making the skin flawless in person or on film. When exposed to flash it is VERY visible and will give you ghost face.
